0908018/Turn of the Century Floral Brooch
With at least a portion of this brooch appearing hand wrought, this floral inspired accessory is manufactured from pot metal and features an antiqued gold toned plating. Dimensional detail is hard to miss with the cut outs and layered leaves that depict the floral centerpiece. A twisted metal 'rope' frames the piece and it attaches with a simple 'c' catch. Measuring approximately 2" in diameter, the brooch is in excellent condition for its close to 100 years of service. In person the metal is a bit darker than the photo reveals due to the flash - it is actually much richer with patina and therefore appears more dimensional. 0908011/Unsigned Staret Beauty
This beauty hails from the 1940s and uses an array of differently shaped rhinestones to accomplish the dimensional look. Oodles of rounds, marquise and even baguettes are strategically set to create this floral swag that wears well on the horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Set in rhodium plated pot metal, the piece is nicely weighted and measures in at 3" in length and 2" at its widest point. Looking strikingly like Staret, no signature is visible but this is a labor intensive look that's not easily imitated. Pale lavender stones add delicate color to the piece that will transition easily from day into evening. Excellent condition.
